Port Augusta Airport is a regional airport located in South Australia, approximately 7 km from the city center of Port Augusta. The airport has a single runway and serves the Upper Spencer Gulf region of South Australia. The airport was originally established as a military airfield during World War II, before being transferred to civilian ownership in the 1950s. Regular passenger services to the airport commenced in the 1960s, and the airport has since undergone a number of upgrades to improve its facilities and services.
